CHITUNGWIZA Aquatic Complex is likely to host its record crowd when the showbiz torch-bearers in this country descend there for a mega show tonight.
Yesterday, there were concerns by some promoters, including Wanisayi “Mahwindo” Mutandwa that the venue could turn out to be too small for such a massive concert.
Led by Alick Macheso and Jah Prayzah, the show has been endorsed as a “must-attend” by those who believe in quality.
Freeman, Feli Nandi, Enzo Ishall, and Holy Ten will be part of the event, thanks to Chipaz Promotions.
Dubbed “Zim Giants — Back 2 Basics”, the show boasts of variety as it parades the country’s most trending artists.
Fans will part with US$10 for the ordinary ticket, US$30 VIP and US$50 VVIP.
Tickets go on sale this morning at the venue.
Event organiser, Partson “Chipaz” Chimbodza, says it’s all systems go.

“We have done all the groundwork to ensure that we give fans value for their money.
“It’s rare to host such a star-studded line-up but we have made the sacrifice to ensure that we give fans variety.
“Macheso and Jah Prayzah have nothing to prove, Freeman has always joined the league of big boys.
“Feli Nandi is no doubt one of the most successful artists in Zimbabwe and we can’t deny that fact,” he said.
Chipaz added:
“We have decided to bring Holy Ten to Chi-Town where he will meet a new crowd.
“We want him to broaden his appeal and fan base because there are some sungura lovers who are following these guys.
“As a stable, we always support female artists and that is why Feli Nandi has made the cut in this line-up.”
Chipaz is also a champion of charity as he regularly holds such events under the “Chipaz Bhora” banner.
