SUPERSTARS Alick Macheso and Jah Prayzah will lead an array of top performers when they invade the Chitungwiza Aquatic Complex on Friday.
Dubbed “Zim Giants — Back 2 Basics,” the event, which is an early Christmas present for people in Chitungwiza, will also serve as a celebration of Zimbabwe’s finest acts.
Lady of the moment, Feli Nandi, is part of the bill alongside Zim dancehall stalwart, Freeman, red-hot rapper Holy Ten, and Enzo Ishall.
Fans will have to part with US$10 for the ordinary ticket, US$30 VIP and US$50 VVIP.
Partson “Chipaz” Chimbodza of Chipaz Promotions is behind the gig.
In an interview with H-Metro, Chipaz said he has assembled the most star-studded line-up ever.
“Fans have been asking for a show which features the country’s torch-bearers and I think we have done our best by coming up with this line-up.
“Macheso and Jah Prayzah are top performers drawing big crowds and this show has come at the right time when fans were begging us to hold such a show.
“We have added Holy Ten, Feli Nandi, and Enzo Ishall to give fans variety.
“Without fear or favour, these are some of the hottest artistes at the moment and we are looking forward to a full house,” he said.
The promoter, who has enjoyed a successful 2023 showbiz season, is never afraid of taking chances.
“It might appear like a huge gamble to assemble these guys but the truth of the matter is that we simply want to give fans variety and value for their money.
“It’s also high time that fans are exposed to such big shows that create lasting memories.
“Fans who work hard should also enjoy themselves by attending big shows of this magnitude,” he said.
