Television presenter Alexio “Goodchild” Gwenzi and award-winning urban grooves star Ti Gonzi and have released a scotching hot video titled “Faya Faya”.
The video which was released on Youtube last week is receiving high raves from viewers. Goodchild said he released the video after getting pressure from his fans.
“The song ‘Faya Faya’ was released late last year but it didn’t have a video, however many of my fans have been asking me to do a video for it hence the decision to do it.
“Lately I have been pre-occupied with school and work, and this has caused me to go for a long time without releasing as many videos as I would like, however I still have fans to entertain hence the decision to do the video,” he said.
The television personality said working on the Faya Faya video had literally ignited the “fire” to make more musi.
“I really enjoyed working on the song with Cymplex, the producer for the song as well as Ti Gonzi, and this has made me realize how much I had missed making good music.
“I also enjoyed making the video with Simba Gee who directed it,” he said.
“In October, on my birthday I will be releasing a revamp of my first ever hit song ‘Iwe Fadzayi’ and in November expect a brand new video for my next single ‘Feeling You’.
“I also have a special Christmas present for my fans as I will be dropping a song called ‘Life Yangu’ which will be released on the December 25 together with a video.”
Goodchild is one of the pioneers of the Urban Grooves Movement and lately there had been a resurgence of Urban Grooves with the likes of Roki, Xtra Large, Maskiri, ExQ, Stunner, Pauline coming back to the fore.
