Gospel diva Rumbi Zvirikuzhe has broken her silence through a new duet featuring Reverend Togarepi Chivaviro.
The new song titled-Ndinoshamiswa Kwazvo-alongside its visuals are set to premiere on October 30.
The backing vocalist-turned-recording artist had taken a study sabbatical since 2017.
She told H-Metro Entertainment & Lifestyle that she recreated the song to meet a modern demand by gospel music lovers.
“I recorded the song out of a personal courtesy after working with a great artist like reverend Chivaviro who I worked with for the past 12 years.
“I believe we share different strengths with him doing well in hymns whilst I am good in composing traditional gospel songs.
“I hope the song will inspire gospel music fans who enjoy hymns mixed with a feel of creativity to produce a soothing song,” said Rumbi.
Fellow artistes Blessing Shumba, Baba Manyeruke, Olinda Marowa, Xolani Mtombeni (SA) and Thoko Suya (Botswana) will perform during a live launch on October 30.
The ‘Uya Mweya Mutsvene’ singer said the song is a prelude to her forthcoming projects.
“I am already working on a few more songs that will feature on my next album.
“I believe that my music can be enjoyed by everyone. I bring to the table a lot of songs talking about personal relationships with God and what we have going on in our everyday life.
“With the help of my voice I hope to use it to sing and to get my stories across,” she said.
Rumbie has worked with different gospel artistes including Kudzi Nyakudya, Tatenda Mahachi and Olinda Marowa among others.
On her forthcoming project, the diva has promised to include an Afrobeat to meet her expectations of taking her voice across the globe.
According to Rumbi, making music to inspire and encourage people is among her main objectives as she heightens her hopes of conquering the world through music.
Under her belt, the musician has previous albums including Mwari Inhare, Tenzi Chirambakusakara, Restoration, Mutsawashe, Kwajeka.
