BRITISH coach, Mark Harrison, says he is interested in another dance with the Castle Lager Premiership.

The gaffer held Malawian club, Mighty Wanderers to finish just five points behind Kalisto Pasuwa’s Big Bullets, who claimed their fifth TNM Super League in Malawi on Sunday.

The former Highlanders, CAPS United and Harare City coach is still attached to the Wanderers, who last won this race six seasons ago.

He won the 2017 Chibuku Super Cup with Harare City while his spell with Bosso was forgettable as he left without guiding the club in any league game due to Covid-19 lockdown.

He spent nearly six weeks in Bulawayo before his departure.

Away from Zimbabwe, Harrison has also been to Chippa United in the South African Premiership and won the league in Botswana with Township Rollers in 2016.

Harrison told Zimpapers Sport the condition that would inspire his return.

“Like any job, if there is an offer you can never say never,” said Harrison.

“If there is a club which is going to consider my name, they have to be ambitious, I want to work with a team that wants to win the title and play in the Champions League.

“To be fair, I have always followed African football but I always put extra effort in seeking to know what is happening in Zimbabwean football since I have worked there with three different clubs.”

Harrison said he has always enjoyed working and staying in Zimbabwe.

“I believe I have done well with most of the teams which I have coached with my ability to marry European and African football.

“I have always enjoyed working in Zimbabwe.

“I think my first job at CAPS United was not pleasing because of the financial situation which was at the club.

“But, I also feel that I had two great seasons at Harare City and, unfortunately, my stay at Highlanders did not get off the ground because of Covid, so I never really had my chance,” he said
