The DJ Stavo and Friends 2019 bash set for Long Cheng Plaza on December 21 seems a heavyweights showdown considering the lineup set for the show.
The potentially exciting gig is also a potential clash between local and South African acts billed to perform at the mega bash.
Dancehall star, Winky D’s is no doubt the biggest local act on the poster whilst South African rapper, AKA is the biggest from South Africa.
Both acts are also billed to perform with live bands posing a dancehall versus hip hop clash that brings a best of both worlds concept to the bash.
However, though many might be on the look out for the two heavy weight acts the event has several other various intriguing acts lined up for the show.
The show also boasts of depth in terms entertainment as it has an array of acts that sing various genres.
South African gqom duo Distruction Boys of the Omunye fame, house ladies man Naak Musiq, Twitty, afro beats artiste Ex Q, dancehall artistes Nutty O, rappers Hillzy and Asaph, beat boxer Probeats, Afro fusion artistes Bryan K and Tamy, are also part of the lineup.
Top wheel-spinners and emcees like DJ Stavo, Storm, The Nu Vyb, L Roy, C Skillz, Merciless, Ash Stylz and Nivek, Miss Becky, Mox among others complete the lineup.
Wood Sensations Formerly Club 1 + 1 is behind the gig.
Speaking to H-Metro, one of the organisers Alessandro Marconati said:
“It’s only a few weeks to go to the show, our first mega bash and the buildup is good.
“The gig is gaining momentum with each day and come December 21 we look forward to good gig.
“The gig will be held at the Long Cheng Plaza and not inside Wood Sensations like some are anticipating.
“It’s an open air gig and people should not fear any rain fears.”
