Herentals coach Kumbirai Mutiwekuziva believes the team is ready to battle log leaders CAPS United and produce a positive result in a Premiership encounter tomorrow.

The Students, who are battling relegation, are coming from a 3-0 win over Black Rhinos.

The Harare side is currently 14th placed with 29 points, out of the relegation zone with a superior goal difference.

They have gone for four games without a defeat – recording three draws and one win.

Mutiwekuziva told H-Metro that his boys have gained confidence after beating Rhinos.

“We are working hard towards this game and we are confident after a positive result in our last match.

“We need to survive so we will work to the best of our abilities and obtain a positive result,” said Mutiwekuziva.

Mutiwekuziva, however, predicts a tough encounter against Makepekepe who are coming from a 1-0 defeat away to Chicken Inn.

“It’s a tricky encounter for us playing against a team fighting for championship,” he said.

He added:

“No injuries. Fans should come and cheer the team, we need their input to keep fighting for premiership life.”
