HOW much longer can Genesis Mangombe hold on to his job as Dynamos coach?

Another defeat on the road, this time to a club which has a DeMbare flavour about them, and another game in which his misfiring forwards failed to score, will heap the pressure on Kaka.

The Glamour Boys have scored just once in their last four games and that came from a penalty against newboys Bikita Minerals.

Yesterday, at Wadzanai Stadium, Simba Bhora became the latest side to find a way to stop Dynamos from scoring.

This was DeMbare’s first visit to Shamva for a top-flight league match and it ended in tears for the visitors fans who came in their numbers.

Mangombe blamed his strikers.

“We had a good first half but we failed to take our chances. In football you will always lose if you don’t take your chances and that’s exactly what happened to us.

“We need to be more ruthless in front of goal.”

Simba Bhora coach, Tonderai Ndiraya, said:

“I’m happy with the result, it’s now our third win of the season and it shows we are moving in the right direction although there’s still room for improvement.”

The first real chance of the game fell to Dynamos and it required special attention from goalkeer, Talbert Shumba, to deny Donald Mudadi in the 25th minute.

DeMbare came knocking again and Elton Chikona failed to make the most of the pass from Tanaka Shandirwa as he chose to release the ball to a marked Emmanuel Paga in the 30th minute.

Walter Musona fired the hosts in front on the stroke of half-time from close range.

After the break, Simba Bhora coach came with a different approach and that was the beginning of their dominance.
