TEDIOUS Muchapeza Matsito Junior says he owes his breakthrough in music to Alick Macheso.
He says he can’t thank him enough after he took him as his son and stayed with him at his Waterfalls home.
“He took me to his house where he fed and taught me the ropes. He treated me the same way he treated his sons.
“I owe my musical breakthrough to him because he is the man who identified my talent and offered to help me when my father fell sick.
“He continued looking after me when my father died and he still monitors my progress.”
He added:
“To be honest, I don’t know what he saw in me because I am just an ordinary boy who loves music.
“He taught me to respect elders and fans as well as being humble.
“Musically, he made me a good guitarist as well as a vocalist and I can’t ask for more.”
