MEMBER of Parliament for Gokwe-Nembudziya, Justice Wadyajena, says he is not moved by the ‘ill-treatment’ targeted at his family by the Borrowdale Brooke Homeowners Association (BBHOA).

He said he was not ashamed of his rural background and, in turn, has accused the BBHOA management of infringing upon his rights.

“I want to assure you, Mr. Chairman (Shingi Munyeza) that while I may be from Gokwe – and extremely proud of it – I am going nowhere.

“I am here to stay in full compliance with our constitution and rules and regulations as I have been doing, for over a decade,” he wrote in a letter addressed to Munyeza.

The politician was recently stripped of his access cards and made to use a visitor’s pass for alleged misbehaviour that included driving around the leafy neighbourhood at night while making noise.

However, a High Court judge overturned the decision and restored his smooth entry and exit into the estate.

In the latest statement, the politician claims to have engaged Munyeza over his mistreatment that spans close to three years.

“For almost three years now, I have been the victim of systematic abuse and harassment and on each occasion, I have sought remedy through your office, but to no avail.

“In some cases, I have had to approach the police.”

He said his complaints were not being attended to.

“I have been falsely accused of murder, my wife was falsely accused of attempted murder, my brother was physically attacked by Brooke Management, you unlawfully barred access to my properties.

“I have been falsely accused of defacing Brooke property and I have been falsely accused of racing my vehicles on Brooke property,” he said.
