FORMER Dynamos striker Evans Katema says he is still settling at his new Zambian club, Zanaco.
The striker signed a two- year contract from DeMbare and is ready for a new challenge.
“I’m still settling in very well getting to understand their style of play and it’s a new environment with different people from all over Africa.
“From the way I see it our league back home it’s not much different to the Zambian Super League they move the ball with so much speed,” said Katema.
The dread-locked striker is hoping that he will start playing soon to get some game time.
“So I far I have not played a single game or been in the final 18 but I will start playing soon.
“I’m hoping to play as many games as I can to help the team and I’m working very hard at training, the rest will follow,” he said.
Katema also said Zanaco was the right move for him amongst other offers he received back home.
“Home is always best but in life you have to move on, of course I do miss Dynamos, my family and friends.
“I chose Zanaco because they offer a good platform for me to enjoy and improve my game.
“They are an organised club with professionals and they play continental games almost every year,” he added.
