FROM a smaller stage to a bigger stage.
This aptly sums up the annual Stanbic Jacaranda Music Festival (SJMF), which has been hailed for promoting new and fresh talent on a big stage.
Every year, they introduce new artists to share the stage with international acts.
This year, some of the artists to grace the stage are Vera, NicholarZW and Muramba Pitch.
SJMF, which is in its sixth edition, will get underway with two days of educational music business workshops featuring local and regional experts.
The year’s edition takes place at Old Hararians Sports Club in Harare from October 6 to 8.
Other artists to spice the line-up include South African Sun-El Musician, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Black Motion, Judith Sephuma and Ami Faku as well as Zimbabwean acts ExQ, Tamy Moyo, Selmor Mtukudzi and American jazz saxophonist Brent Birkchead.
Daliwonga, Ndlovu Youth Choir, Murumba Pitch, Alexio Kawara and the Shades of Black, Sylent Nqo, Norman Masamba, Chiwedarr, Intotal Band, Gary Tight, Those Guys Vacho, Jason Le Roux, Gwevedzi, Mannex Motsi, Willom Tight, Mateo, Dino Mudondo, Nicholar, Ammara Brown, Vuyo Brown and Samuel Cosmic are also part of the bill.
