POPULAR Zim dancehall chanter, Rodney “Jah Master” Mashandure, has dropped a video for the Ruvarashe song saluting wives as God-given gifts.
The singer said the song is an appreciation of women and the role they play in society. His manager, Lennon Madzamba, said the song is about a husband appreciating the value of his wife.
“The song is about a husband telling his wife that you are God-given and between us there is God so never leave me. Ruvarashe, as the song is titled, literally means a flower from God so the song comes to strengthen the family bond between spouses.
“It also talks about the importance of discipline among partners.
“This world needs more love and it’s the basis of the song.”
Added Madzamba: “The song is on Jah Master’s official social media pages and it has very positive comments which people can view for themselves.
“The song falls in the same category as Tsamba, according to our many fans.
“Tsamba is the most requested song from Jah.
“This gives us assurance as a team that we are on the right path because the people are supporting us. At its peak, it was number four but more can be done for the song, which is a positive mature song for the whole family.
“The song was produced by DKT Records and the video features stars like Yahya Goodvibes and Jeromewear.
“We are grateful for the support from all corners of the world.”
