YADAH forward Jerry Chipangura wants to ass more goals to his name when they face inform Herentals in a Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match at the National Sports Stadium tomorrow.
Chipangura grabbed a brace that inspired the Miracle Boys 3-1 win over Triangle last week.
In nine games for the Miracle Boys, Chipangura has four goals to his name, which has been one of the best returns in the second half of the season.
“I am expecting to score more goals and get three points as a team,” said Chipangura.
“We are in a position where we need to collect maximum points as a team.
“Our survival is hanging by the thread and we have to fight with all we have.
“But, looking into all this, we are not even under pressure or giving ourselves pressure. We want three points for us to get out of the danger zone and then we carry on from there.”
He added:
“We need to shift gears and get ourselves into the beast mode if we are to have maximum points.
“I scored a brace in the last game and it is a good feeling for every player to help with goals for the team, especially considering I am a striker.
“We are urging each other as teammates to keep pushing ourselves beyond limits for us to survive relegation.”
Yadah are in 14th place with 30 points.
Three other teams are tied with Yadah on 30 points and only separated by goal difference.
