PSL 2019 Soccer Star of the Year Joel ‘Josta’ Ngodzo’s team, Buildcon, recorded their first defeat since the return of football in Zambia after the conronavirus-enforced lockdown following a 2-0 defeat to log leaders NAPSA Stars on Friday.
Buildcon have played three games since the resumption of football in Zambia with other two ending in a draw and a win.
The match also saw other Zimbabweans at the team, Takudzwa Chimwemwe and Donald Teguru getting the run.
Chimwemwe played the whole match while Teguru replcaed Josta with nine minutes to play.
Buildcon are now being coached by former Highlanders and How Mine coach Kelvin Kaindu.
Zambia, which is now home to more than 20 Zimbabwean players, is among the few African countries that have resumed action since the lockdown in March.
Tanzania, home to players like Never Tigere and Donald Ngoma, have completed their league.
The South African Absa Premiership is set to return on August 8.
