Contemporary star Jah Prayzah has been named chief brand ambassador for Jan Jam.
Jah Prayzah and his Military Touch Movement (MTM) family have entered into what Jan Jam has called a ‘non-financial partnership’ in which both brands are set to benefit strategically for the 2019/20 season.
The entertainer will work towards participation of the Jan Jam brands increasing its visibility in the course promoting ideas behind his music and MTM.
Speaking at the official signing ceremony, Jan Jam director, Cynthia Bizure Sithole said she had to go for Jah Prayzah for trendsetting.
“There is indeed no doubt that JP is a trendsetter both in fashion and music.
“We felt it was only fitting that a brand as contemporary as ours which has changed the culture of dressing from a chore to an art should partner with a brand as epic as Jah Prayzah.
“The invitation with Jah Prayzah as our brand ambassador will be for the year 2019/2020,” she said.
Cynthia hopes Jah Prayzah’s popularity and art will be contagious to her brand visibility.
“Our motivation for choosing Jah Prazyah includes his passion and work that carry a unique spark of brilliance that we believe is contagious even to our own brand.
“He is highly professional, intelligent, humble making his brand a watermark that is truly irresistible and one of Zimbabwe’s best artiste,” she said.
In his speech, the musician said he was happy to officially land the Jan Jam deal.
“I feel excited to officially be unveiled as Jan Jam brand ambassador after recently being with them during my Sadza neMuriwo video.
“This is something new that I am doing to relate to my fans so that I look cool too,” he said.
Jah Prayzah’s handler, Keen Mushapaidze also shared the same sentiments saying both brands shared the same drive and desire.
Mushapaidze also took the platform to assure Jah Prayzah’s fans that nothing has changed on his traditional attire that he usually hogs on stage and videos.
He also clarified that Thembani Mubochwa who is a known Jah Prayzah costume designer, role is unchanged.
Jan Jam has also said they will now focus on Jah Prayzah deviating from dressing other celebrities.
