LYON striker Tino Kadewere says he is yet to know the decision over his suspension following the abandonment of their match against Marseille at the weekend.
Kadewere, who is serving suspension in the Ligue 1, was due to end the punishment on Sunday after he was shown red in their 3-2 loss to Nice.
Lyon’s match against Marseille was abandoned on Sunday after Dimitri Payet was hit on the head by a water bottle thrown from the stands.
“I was supposed to save my suspension until the Marseille match, but then the game was cancelled after five minutes of play.
“So I don’t know how they will rule the games and I’m not sure if I can play next game or not.
“I’m still waiting to hear from the club,” he said.
On his suspension he said:
“It hurts to know that you’ve been red carded.
“And to know that you will have to miss a certain number of games. But it’s part of the game and it happens in football.
“I’m looking forward to get back stronger and do what I love to do which is to play
“I’ve been working hard in training and yeah it’s going well so far”
