NORTHERN Region side Beta XI Coach Prince Kadewere said the team is struggling to win a game due to unexperienced players following their 1-0 loss to Ngezi Under19 at Motor Action on Sunday.

With one game left until the Northern Region gives players a rest, Kadewere is dying to go on break to sort out his mess.

“I pray that we should end this first half quickly because my team is struggling a lot.

“We are not able to finish our chances very well and we are conceding goals which is very bad for us,|” he said.

Kadewere said the team is regretting losing their top defenders and hopes to bring them back during the break.

“Our defence is our weakest point.

“We have lost more than six players mainly in the defensive side, however we are going to bring more to cover our team in the second half of our season because we cannot afford to lose games during the second half,” he said.

He also replies to Beta fans who are angry for not cerebrating a win for a long time.

“I want our fans to be patient and even look behind the match and try to find out what our team is going through.

“I know that it is bad not to win, even I also want to collect maximum point.

“I just pray for more success during the second half, we are not going to be relegated,” he said.

Beta is now on 16th position out of 18.
