NGEZI Platinum Stars U19 coach, Kifton Kadurira, believes there is more to come from on-fire foward, Takunda Benhura.
The striker has been the toast of the Zifa Northern Region Division One League.
The forward has scored five goals in his first two league matches.
He helped his side open their campaign, with 2-0 win over perennial campaigners Beta XI, last weekend, before playing out 3-3 draw against Simba Bhora, on Wednesday.
“It is his time now, he has been on our developmental side, for three years now. I think he is now ripe (for the big stage),” said Kadurira.
“Everything he is doing now is not a surprise.
“We always had faith in him and we are happy that he is doing well.
“I have seen his potential, he has the credentials to go far, he just needs to keep a cool head as he starts to get recognition..
“I believe he has not hit his best form, there is more to expect from him.”
Kadurira salutes his charges, following a positive start to the season.
Kadurira told H-Metro Sport he was excited with how his lads have started the season, after picking four, out of possible six points.
“I am happy with how the boys have started, it is a bonus to us because we are a developmental side.
“Our focus is to identify, and promote, these youngsters.
“For them to go blow-for-blow, with an experienced side like Simba Bhora ,was amazing.
“We were in control of the game, for almost 80 minutes, the boys were very composed in their approach and it was very encouraging to me, as a coach.”
