Harry Kane set a new club record as the England captain continues to thrive following his £100m move to Bayern Munich.
Kane was on the scoresheet yet again as they earned a 3-1 win at home to Borussia Monchengladbach on Saturday afternoon.
His 24th goal for Bayern since his high-profile summer move from Tottenham Hotspur means that he has written his name into the history books at the German giants once again.
Kane’s 70th-minute header into an empty net put Bayern 2-1 up in the game, and also ensured he set a new record as the club’s highest scorer in a debut season.
Thomas Muller, Bayern’s veteran attacking midfielder, also made club history as the first player to reach 500 victories in all competitions with the giants. — Daily Mail.
