BRUCE Kangwa says Highlanders will always be home and has not ruled out a return to the club.
He has spent the last few years in Tanzania.
“After being released by Azam FC, I have been on an off-season break,” he told Zimpapers Sports.
“It was a good holiday that allowed me to have enough rest.
“As such, there is a time that one needs to move on. Highlanders has always been my home and I must say I’m willing to have another dance with Bosso.”
He added:
“Bosso is my home and it’s no wonder that I want to retrace to a club that gave me fame. I established myself at Highlanders but I cannot say much at the moment.”
Bosso communications, media and marketing officer Nozibelo Maphosa said it was pleasing to note that Kangwa still has love for the club.
“Bruce Kangwa once played for us and he was one of our finest players.
“It really means a lot because the player has shown he still has the love for the team.
“We are happy that he still identifies with the club. It’s good that he still values the time he had with the club,” said Maphosa.
Kangwa won everything on offer in the Tanzanian league except the league championship.
“It’s every player’s wish to win the league.
“So, it pains to leave the club without that league championship medal.
“However, it was about time for me to leave.”
