CAPS United midfielder Mitchell Katsvairo is on the verge of signing for Zambian club Lusaka Dynamos.
If the deal goes through, Katsvairo will join former teammate Dennis Dauda and former Dynamos star Ocean Mushure.
According to a source close to the deal, Katsvairo is currently in Zambia for negotiations.
The former FC Platinum and Chicken Inn star hopes to show a glimpse of his best with reports that he is currently in camp with the team for trials.
“He is yet to sign a contract but he has joined camp and is training with the team right now.
“He has also impressed the coach and they are awaiting admin to sign the contract,” said the source.
“He really wants to join this team. He has wanted to leave CAPS for greener pastures and also adventure.
“Before that he had tried his luck in Kenya where he went for trials at AFC Leopards.
“He even played a trials match and the coach was impressed and wanted to give him a contract though he didn’t join that team.”
Katsvairo joined CAPS from Kaizer Chiefs in 2018 after an unsuccessful spell in South Africa and failed to make an impression with the Green Machine.
