FC Platinum utility player Ralph Kawondera says he is excited to feature in this season’s Castle Challenge Cup trophy on Saturday at Babourfields.
They will lock horns with a determined Highlanders squad to kick off the 2020 season.
Kawondera who started the CHAN preparations recently with the Warriors was released yesterday after training to start preparations with the team today and tomorrow.
“I’m very excited that this game will be my first game that I will play for my new club.
“We are taking this game seriously as a team and we know it’s not going to be an easy encounter so we are going there with a position mind because we really need to win it,” he said.
The former Triangle star also said this game will also boost their confidence ahead of the 2020 PSL season.
“This game it will help us to boost our confidence because the following week the league will be starting and I’m happy that I will be available for the weekend’s game,” said Kawondera.
Bosso will be at home but the midfielder highlighted that it won’t be a problem for them.
“I can’t say it will be a problem because even in the league we play home and away so we are taking this game as it comes whether home or away we are ready to fight until the end.
“We know Highlanders are a good side and we are not going to underrate them come Saturday,” he added.
