ACTING Minister of Youth, Sport, Arts and Recreation Kazembe Kazembe has vowed to provide utmost support to the Lady Chevrons as they prepare for the 2019 ICC Women’s World Twenty20 Global Qualifier.

“I want to congratulate the ladies for they have done us proud as a country.
“When I heard the good news about our qualification to the Global qualifier, I said to myself I needed to congratulate the team in person.
“I also want to thank the team, technical staff, support staff and everybody who assisted the ladies to be where they are today. I know you will do well in Scotland.
“On behalf of the Government and also on behalf of the Minister Kirsty Coventry, we wish you well as you go to represent the country.
“We will give you all the support that we feel you need, we will do our utmost to support you,” he said.
