EUPHORIA has gripped the nation ahead of this year’s Mister Zimbabwe International and Mister Teen Zimbabwe pageants on September 30 in Bulawayo.
The two pageants, which are set to be held on the same day and venue, are set to give young models exposure.
Organised by Ishmael Murangandi, the two pageants are aimed at showcasing the best of Zimbabwean talent and provide a platform for children to make a lasting impact.
This year, the Mister Teen Zimbabwe competition will be showcasing 15 contestants, vying for two prestigious titles – Mister Teen Zimbabwe 2022/23 and Mister Teen Zimbabwe 2023/24.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, last year’s edition did not take place but the gap is now being covered by this spectacular event.
Ishmael told H-Metro that these talented participants have undergone rigorous training and are ready to give their best on the stage, demonstrating their confidence, charm and charisma.
“My theme for this year is ‘Men Of Value’.
“I am a strong believer in patriarchy, henceforth this year’s theme, a message to all men that we are leaders, and good leaders, add value to their communities, families, workplaces and places of worship.
“The main event, Mister Zimbabwe International, promises to be a night filled with elegance and sophistication with 23 remarkable gentlemen from all corners of Zimbabwe prepared to showcase their unique qualities and vie for the coveted title,” he said.
Ishmael added:
“With a diverse group of contestants, each bringing their own strengths, the competition is sure to be fierce yet friendly, highlighting the rich cultural heritage and talent Zimbabwe has to offer.
“The pageant’s success is attributed not only to the dedication and hard work of the contestants but also to the efforts of the pageant’s patron, Mister Tichaona Nigel Shamu, who is diligently overseeing all the preparations, ensuring that every detail is taken care of for a seamless and memorable event.”
The Mister Zimbabwe International and Mister Teen Zimbabwe pageants are set to be spectacular events, celebrating the talents and values of Zimbabwean men.
With 15 teens competing for the Mister Teen Zimbabwe titles, and 23 men vying for the Mister Zimbabwe International crown, event organisers have assured guests it will be a night of glamour.
