Zim dancehall sensation, Killer T, is expected to feature on top radio station, BBC 1Xtra for an interview and freestyle session.
The Itai ndione singer is expected to make a date with DJ Edu on May 7 on his popular slot “Destination Africa” that airs every Sunday 10pm UK time.
Killer T will be the latest Zimbabwean artiste to feature on the popular slot after Winky D and Jah Prayzah who were on the show a few weeks back.
Meanwhile, Killer T is expected to perform in the UK this Saturday at the dubbed UK Cup Clash set for Street life in Leicester.
UK based promoter King Alfred Munhenga is the one behind the cup clash as well as Killer T‘s BBC 1Xtra interview.
King Alfred was also behind Winky D’S debUt appearance on the station in 2010. “Killer T will be on BBC 1Xtra with DJ Edu on May 7.
“It’s a great opportunity for the young man to market his brand and who knows what will come out of it.
“When Winky D came for the cup clash in 2010 I also took him to BBC.
“In those days (2010) it was so hard to feature on BBC but because I use to play with Dj Edu and Crucial Robbie who is now on Arsenal TV channel everything was possible.
“My mission is to see Zim music grow and be out there to the world. I have also arranged for female artiste Shanky to mention a few.”
