DANCEHALL star Killer T is tonight set to perform at City Sports Bar as part of his mission of taking the new album, Bvunza Tinzwe, to the people.
The Mbare-bred chanter is the main act during tonight’s Afribbean Nite, a weekly music session held at City Sports Bar focusing on reggae/dancehall music.
The music session has become popular with show goers and has so far hosted a number of reggae outfits.
And it will be a double celebration for Killer T after being honoured to perform at the last session of the year.
Born Kelvin Kusikwenyu, the talented lyricist is among the dancehall artistes who have dominated the year 2016, predicting a full house tonight.
Killer T’s manager Kudzai Biston, better known as Super, said his artiste is ready for the show which is part of his last shows this year.
“It’s a special show to us. The show is part of our shows of taking the new album to the people,” he said.
“The response to the album is overwhelming and it’s been long before we stage a show in the capital and City Sports Bar has become a home for us.
“We are inviting fans to come in their numbers and enjoy dancehall music,” he said.
The Takangodaro hit maker is also expected to sample some new tracks despite having a number of songs doing well on the market.
