PHENOMENAL rapper King 98, who has over 40 songs ready for release, believes in synergies and collaborations.
The 22-year-old opened up last weekend when he paraded some of his agents based in South Africa, Tanzania and Nigeria.
He is set to release his second album early next year.
To ensure that his fans are not starved of new stuff on the market, he has since released a single titled I Bet.
The single, which has an accompanying video, is indeed a triumph as the Kachiri hit-maker nailed it.
And to show that he is determined to conquer Africa, King 98 now boast of representatives in Southern Africa, East and West Africa.
In East Africa, he is represented by Alma Bronxie while Mr Emmanuel is handling his affairs in West Africa.
King 98 has also roped in Nigeria’s most sought after producer London, who has worked with top Nigerian artistes.
London who has produced a number of songs for the rapper hailed King 98 for his talent.
“He is a fine artiste and my advice to him is that he must remain focused humble and level-headed.
“I’m really impressed by his work ethic and the support he is getting from papa (Thompson Dondo) is great.
“I have enjoyed every moment that I had worked with him because he is determined and focused,” he said.
In another interview, King 98 who has been collaborating with the continent’s music stalwarts like Davido, Diamond Platinumz and Nasty C said he was ready to work with anyone.
“Of course I have been doing collaborations with the continent’s giants but I would love to collaborate with locals.
“However, I will not go around chasing people because I tried my best to work with locals.
“I see myself as an international artistes and my vision is to go far and become one of Africa’s music giants,” he said.
To date, King 98 has worked with a number of the continent’s music giants.
In East Africa, he has worked with Diamond Platinumz who has been supportive in his career.
His bromance with Diamond Platinumz came after he was recommended by Davido to engage the East Africa superstar
Diamond Platinumz has also introduced King 98 to a number of Tanzanian producers who are now producing the youngster’s music.
Closer home in South Africa, King 98 has been working with Nasty C who introduced him to a number of provinces across the Limpopo.
