RAPPER King 98’s ‘bromance’ with Nigerian artistes is paying off and their latest video titled PULL UP bears enough evidence.
Released last Friday, the video which features Davido’s mentee Zlatan has since attracted close to 127K views on Youtube.
The 21-year-old, whose stock continues to rise with each passing day, is simply making great strides in his career as a professional musician.
His new manager – Dee Nosh – confirmed the new developments saying King 98 was simply unstoppable and ready to make a bold statement.
“They met when King 98 and Davido were working on the song No Bad Vibes where Davido made the recommendation.
“The video will be out on the 30th (last Friday) of August and we are looking forward to a good response,” said Nosh who praised King 98 for his great potential.
Asked on the audience King 98 targeted, Dee Nosh said:
“Afro Pop west African market, America and European countries. After the video, we do expect more fan engagement and more collaborations between the two.”
Dee Nosh, who is currently in Nigeria with Zlatan, said the former was indeed trending in the West Africa country after honing his skills under the tutelage of Davido.
“He is very big and King is opening more doors to more producers and collaboration to widen his music career.
“Since music is a universal language so we are uniting all age groups.”
King 98 who boasts of one album – Francesca – to his credit coupled with a number of singles, has also made synergies with South Africa rapper Nasty C.
Currently, his video No Bad Vibes featuring Davido, Wacko featuring Laylizzy and Nasty C is also trending.
After all the efforts he has made, King 98 fans now expects his new video – Pull Up – with Zlatan to catapult him to acclaim.
