Zim Hip Hop artist, Tavonga “Leo Magozz” Magombedze, is delighted by the recognition he is getting in the music industry.
He told H-Metro he was excited about sharing the stage with different artists.
“I feel blessed that destiny is now closing in.
“I am so grateful for God’s blessings.
“This is something big that I always wanted and seeing this happen is actually a dream come true,” he said.
The versatile singer said his vision is to become one of the greatest artists in Africa.
“To be honest, I picture myself growing to be one of the biggest artists in Africa but I did not envision it like this.
“The way my career exploded is all a miracle,” said the rapper.
Leo Magozz revealed he has always loved studying.
“Before venturing into music I was working on my studies in digital marketing.
“I wanted to pursue a different career.
“The desire to express my feelings, fight depression and express the lives of those around me inspired me to become who I am today.
“I found music as the best way to do that, to express everything I felt.”
Currently, the singer is working on an Extended Play titled Drill Lives Matter.
“Drill Lives Matter is an Extended Play body project consisting of seven projects, one of which is an intro.
“I am set to drop the project this Friday, 23 September, featuring P9Nde, Holy 10 and Bling4.
“I do not have any albums yet.
“I just have an Ep called Behind Hearts that I dropped in 2021 making this one my second EP,” he said.
“There are so many challenges that I have faced along the journey and all of them have contributed to build me up to this stage.”
