DYNAMOS captain Partson Jaure has challenged his men to win their last FIVE games and see where it will take them.
The Glamour Boys are virtually out of the championship race.
This means they won’t celebrate their 60th anniversary with the badge of honour of being the defending champions.
The Glamour Boys face relegation-threatened Whawha in a Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match at the National Sports Stadium on Sunday.
After weeks of struggling, Dynamos finally came right last weekend by edging Manica Diamonds 1-0 at Sakubva.
Jaure says they’re not focusing on the log standings but they just want to win all their remaining five matches of the season.
“Our job is to play games and win, and that’s what we just want to do.
“Playing a team facing relegation is not easy because they will be wanting to win the game at all costs.
“But, we also want to win the game, so I think at the end of the day it will come to who wants it more.”
“We are aware of the pressure from our fans who are demanding results from us.
“We’ve been preparing well in training to ensure that we deliver to the expectations of the fans.
“We are going to fight to win.
“We want to urge our supporters to come in their numbers to support us.
“Our fans shouldn’t give up on us because it’s their support that keeps us going.
“We appreciate them and we would be happy if they come and rally behind us on Sunday.”
DeMbare are in third place and face a tough fight for the runners-up spot with Chicken Inn.
The Glamour Boys have failed to win the league championship in the last eight years.
Their last triumph, in the premier race in the top-flight league, came in 2014.
