Gospel musician Aaron Rusikira has encouraged the people of Zimbabwe to continue following lockdown orders as well as having peace with God.
Speaking to H-Metro, Pastor Rusikira said he is managing this lockdown by continuing with social media ministry.
“As a musician as well as a pastor I am spending my days by continuing with (social) media ministry. The response is overwhelming,” he said.
He also said that during this lockdown period, people should not panic.
“I would like to let people know that they should make sure that they have peace with God.
“Live a healthy lifestyle which encompasses washing of hands, social distancing and stay at home.
“Share what you have with others that includes food, correct information in times like this.
“One vital lesson I have learnt from this pandemic is that we are a community. From one infected person in Wuhan, the whole world is epidemiologically affected.
“Black, white, Asians, Caucasians, Africans, we have one race, the human race. We better think, act communally.
“ Even God in His Divine nature, expresses Himself as a community, The Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost,” he said
