UK-BASED young songbird, Jamelia “Lil Jam” Sadiq, is on a streak of carnival performances.
The young sensation, popular for her song Fresh On The Scene, is taking it one city at a time as she performs at various festivals in the King’s land.
She performed at the Manchester Carnival last weekend, a performance that came after another recent event, Jam Festival, which was held in Middlesbrough a fortnight ago.
“Lil Jam performed at the Manchester Carnival last weekend and this time she performed for a much bigger crowd.
“It was a joy for the revellers to watch her on stage and they appreciated her by singing along to her songs.
“I see so much growth in her considering she is turning 12 years old next month,” said her manager Jah Hanief.
He added:
“She was booked by The African Corner (T.A.C), which is a huge Manchester community for the Africans.
“It is headed by Nigerians and she has managed to grow a good fan base within the community that also consists of Ghanaians, Kenyans, Zimbabweans, South Africans and other African nationalities within Manchester.”
Lil Jam is expected to perform at another festival, Leeds Carnival, on August 28.
