WARRIORS coach Zdravko ‘Loga’ Logarusic is expecting the duo of captain Knowledge Musona and Khama Billiat to ‘carry’ the team in today’s encounter against Ethiopia.
Zimbabwe face the Wallia Ibex in their second match of Group G World Cup qualifiers with Loga guaranteeing making changes.
The Croat said he will throw in some fresh blood he expects to help Musona and Khama upfront to come up with a positive result.
“Like I said, there are some of the players who didn’t show me something (against South Africa), so that means a few changes.
“We will see, but we are going to have Khama and Musona taking the responsibility upfront and put some fresh blood in the wings to give us some energy and help our two experienced players in the front,” said Loga.
Loga, who is facing criticism over the Warriors performance last week, said they will be looking for intensity in today’s match.
“At the end, we know what we want in this game. We know the result we want and we are just going to look for that.
“We must put some pressure,” he said.
With Tino Kadewere ruled out due to injury, some of the players in line to start include Ishmael Wadi, Blessing Sarupinda and Perfect Chikwende.
Jonah Fabisch is also expected to get a nod in midfield ahead of Zambia-based Thabani Kamusoko.
Loga also hinted on changing the goalkeeper saying most of Talbert Shumba’s decisions against South Africa were wrong.
