SOUTH Africa bound Alick Macheso bids farewell to his fans on Sunday with a potentially explosive family show at Club Las Vegas in Southerton.
The sungura ace, who last performed at the venue in February this year, promised a show of a lifetime.
“We will be touring South Africa next week where we are billed to hold a series of shows in Joburg, Port Elizabeth and Durban.
“Prior to our departure, we will hold three shows starting with Raffingora at Gumbo Nite Club before we proceed to Mutoko where we are set to hold another show at Madzeka Nite Club.
“On Sunday, we will them hold the big one at Club Las Vegas in Southerton.
“We last performed there before the album launch and this weekend’s show is a bit special as we are going to bid farewell to our fans in Harare before our departure,” said Orchestra Mberikwazvo publicist Tich Makahamadze.
The publicist said morale was high in camp ahead of their foreign trip.
“At Orchestra Mberikwazvo we are one happy family and everyone is raring to go.
“The guys can’t wait for the Sunday show and Macheso too has never disappointed fans at Club Las Vegas each time he has performed there,” added Makahamadze.
Joint proprietor Itai Motsi said preparations for the show are well on course.
“We have don’t our ground and we are also expecting fireworks from Macheso.
“He last performed at the joint early this year and this show comes at a time when he is promoting his latest album – Dzinosvitsa Kure – which has been endorsed by manyu as a success.
“We urge fans to show up in numbers as we celebrate one of our living legends.
“It’s a show not to be missed since Macheso has never disappointed fans each time he performed at Club Las Vegas,” he said.
The show starts at 2pm till very late.
