GOSPEL musician Sabastian Magacha has engaged veteran sungura musician Madzibaba Nicholas Zakaria in a single titled Vanondigonera.
The pint sized musician, who is currently riding high with two of his collaborations Mweya Mutsvene featuring Jah Prayzah and Maria na Marita featuring Alick Macheso, said he hopes his latest project with Madzibaba will have the same limelight as the other two projects.
“If you noticed recently I have been having a number of collaborations, and of the two collaborations I did so far were all hits.
“I am happy to inform you that I am now back in the studio working with Madzibaba Nicholas Zakaria on an upcoming track called Vanondigonera.
“I have no doubt that all my fans will surely love the song because it is a fusion of the best of both worlds.
“I feel privileged to be working with Madzibaba Zakaria because he is a legend in his own right.
“After my collaboration with Alick Macheso on Maria naMarita my next target was Madzibaba Zakaria and I thank God I have managed to seal the collaboration deal with him,” he said.
Magacha has also scoffed at critics who criticize him for collaborating with secular musicians.
“It is unfortunate that we have a group of people in our society who see themselves better than others.
“I have been criticized by people who were saying I am not supposed to collaborate with secular musicians.
“I my own view I don’t see anything wrong with that because what matters is the message that you are singing about not whom you are singing with,” he said.
