SuperSport United winger Kuda Mahachi wants to improve on his 2019-20 performance in the South African Premier Soccer League.
The Warriors star’s team started training on Tuesday for the 20/21 season, which gets underway next month.
“It was great to see the guys in training and I’m happy we are back again to do wat we love.
“We must improve from the last season. We have a great team with great youngsters so this this season we want to push more only God willing.
“I’m training hard to improve from last season. I thank God for everything and I thank SuperSport United for giving me the opportunity.
“So this season I’m trying to improve and be a better player and I thank my coach Kaitano Tembo for always pushing me to do more,” he said.
The former Highlanders star says their team is being guided by the Covid-19 guidelines during their training.
“Yes COVID-19 is still there so we make sure we follow all the protocols from the team. “And for us players we always try to stay safe wearing masks and sanitizing all the time,” he said.
Mahachi, who is spending his second season for SuperSport after moving from Orlando Pirates, says he is happy to be joined by national teammate George Chigova, who was playing for relegated side Polokwane.
The club is also home to Onismor Bhasera and striker Evans Rusike.
“Yes I’m so happy Chigova has joined us we all know he is a good player wishing him a good season with us.”
