Traditional gospel artiste Darlington “Mambo Dhuterere” Mutseta is celebrating the 700K views on YouTube of his video Ahuwerere off the Dare Guru album which took the industry by storm this year.
Mambo Dhuterere took to Facebook to express his excitement on how his video is attracting audience on social media.
“You people, You! You! You! Handidi neni, honai icho makutochipinza million. Thank you for your support,” posted Mambo Dhuterere.
Ahuwerere has become his first video from the album Dare Guru to reach the 700K views on YouTube surpassing some of the popular tracks like Mweya Ndisesekedze and title track Dare Guru on 485k and 183k respectively.
Ahuwerere is a song that castigates abortion and the script of the video is also in line with lyrics.
Though Ahuwerere has proved to be his best video from Dare Guru album, Mambo Dhuterere also featured on videos that surpassed 700k such as Wehumambo Nditarire by Mathias Mhere on 988k views and Reurura on 1,1 million views by Seh Calaz.
However, Mambo Dhuterere has something to be proud of since the Ahuwerere video is his song not a feature as compared to Wehumambo Nditarire and Reurura.
The video that features Trymore Bande, Ndinotenda Ishe Wangu, is on mere 43k views and is one of the lowest compared to other songs that do not have visuals such as Hey Hey Hey which features Mathias Mhere on 401k views.
In an interview with H-Metro Mambo Dhuterere said hailed the people enjoying his music.
“I am thankful to those who are listening and supporting my music.
“These are the works of God, he blesses works with positive message that transforms the lives of people,” he said.
