Allegations are sometime in October this year, Chigume got the winds that the now deceased Meeting Chivhato was dating his wife.
The court heard that on October 26, Chigume teamed up with his friends and his wife Mitchell and went to confront Chivhato.
Upon their arrival, they found Chivhato asleep and they woke him up and started accusing him of dating Mitchell which did not go well with him.
It is in the State case that Chigume locked Chivhato, Mitchell and Sarah and went to Hatcliffe Police Station.
The court heard that Chivhato escaped from the house through the window and followed the accused person .
Chigume met Chivhato and started stabbing him with a yet to be known object on the left side neck and shoulder.
Chivhato bled profusely and was taken to police station where he indicated that Chigume had stabbed him with an object.
He was then referred to Makumbe Hospital where he was attended to before his death.
