US-based Zimbabwean music entrepreneur, Kudakwashe Manase, has positioned himself to organising US and European tours for celebrated African musicians.
Manase, a seasoned talent manager and entertainment businessman, is the chief executive officer of Four Promotions International, an integrated management company.
He is credited for promoting both upcoming and celebrated artists on the international stage, with the most recent being celebrated South African musician Thandi Draai, who is set to tour the US next month.
Known for her vibrant charisma, remarkable voice, and stirring DJ sets, Thandi Draai’s international reputation as one of the industry’s most exciting performers resonates with each beat.
The forthcoming US tour underscores her achievements, cementing her place as a notable figure in the global music industry, all under the curatorship of Manase.
Manase said the tour kicks off in mid-December to the end of April next year.
“I’ve been Thandi Draai’s talent manager since 2022, so it comes without saying that I will oversee her tour,” he said.
“I will also serve as the tour manager, concert producer, and stage manager while also producing live streams for every concert.
“I have been hard at work to ensure that the tour will be marked by the meticulous organisation and enthralling performances.”
The “Thandi Draai in the USA” tour will launch at Culture DC (Washington DC) on December 15, 2023, with the final stop on the tour being at Quantum Brooklyn in New York on April 7.
The tour comes at a time when Thandi Draai’s hit single “Abafazi” released this year has been making waves globally.
Some of her career accomplishments include the celebrated compilation “Africa Gets Physical Vol. 4” introducing an international audience to African music and her ground-breaking independently produced album, “Iris,” which was one of Africa’s first albums solely produced by a female artist.
Last year, Manase organised a US and European tour for DJ Melzi, who is one of the youngest and most vibrant SA Amapiano DJs.
Manase also works with Kumbirai Mayingahama aka Kronik, who signed a publishing deal with Universal Music, a testament to his hard work and tenacity.
Through his influence, Kronik is working with major artists and is in conversation for possible placement for a Drake single.
With his impressive track record, Manase aims to continue pushing African talent onto the global stage, empowering more artists with worldwide recognition and exposure.
He is passionate about showcasing the diversity and creativity of Africa’s music industry and hopes to inspire the next generation of African artists to dream big and share their talents with the world.
He has also created networks and organised successful meet-ups with high-profile celebrities such as P Diddy, Kim Kardashian, Will-I-Am, Conor Mcgregor, Post Malone, Meagan Good, Julian Marley, DaBaby, Teyana Taylor, Ray, and DJ Khaled.
