COACH Taurai Mangwiro reckon that Triangle is still in the mud regardless of their 2-1 win against Hwange at Colliery stadium on Sunday.
The Sugar Sugar Boys edged the Colliery miners to make it two wins in a row following their 2-1 win against Mushowani Stars last weekend.
And at the same time adding more woes to Hwange who wilted to a fifth consecutive defeat.
Mangwiro was happy with his team’s recovery though he insisted that there is need for improvement.
“It’s an important win because Hwange is a good side and it is always difficult to play them at home but we managed to come up with the best result.
“At the same time, it gave us some relief though deep inside I know we are still in the mud and we need to keep working hard to atone for the poor run.
“Nonetheless , the win will give us confidence going forward as we also had a lean spell before winning twice on the trot now,” he said.
Mangwiro also mentioned that there were some positives in defense in the weekend encounter.
“The boys have been performing well just that we were making a lot of technical errors defensively and offensively but in this game defensively we were better though we continued to fluff good chances,” he said.
