Norman Mapeza says they need to remain positive in the CAF Confederation Cup qualifier, second leg against ASC Jaraaf at Stade Lat Dior on Sunday.
The team arrived in Senegal on Wednesday night. FC Platinum are going into the game trailing by 1-0 after losing at home on Sunday in a match they fluffed glorious opportunities, including an early penalty.
“We arrived well here, everything is fine.
“Like l said before I left home that we just have to remain positive and have self belief that we can still do it.
“If they can come home and get a result, I can’t say anything is stopping us in doing the same.
“And as l said some few days ago that we got some positives and I think during our game against Jaraaf at home if we could have managed to convert those chances we missed.
“I think we could be talking a different story but like l said we have picked up so many positives at home so we just have to remain positive and push forward for a positive result on Sunday,” he said.
Mapeza said they only have two injury worries though they still have to assess the players.
“We still have William Stima, he is still nursing an injury and Kevin Madzongwe didn’t train today because he was complaining of his back so we still have to assess him.
“But as for the rest of the squad everything is fine, we went for training this morning and everything went well.”
