FC Platinum coach Norman Mapeza believes their encounter against Chicken Inn at Luveve tomorrow is among their big fixtures for the season.
“It’s a huge game for us, I think Chicken Inn have had a very good start in their first three games and lost to Ngezi.
“But l think they have been playing good football and for us to go there and get maximum points we have to really put everything into the game.
“That’s what l can say for now,” he said.
Mapeza views Chicken Inn as title contenders but says they will be up to the task.
“I can’t say there is a huge difference from the other games l have played. The only difference l can talk about is the start they’ve had so far so far in the season.
“They had a very good start so l think that might be the difference with other clubs but football is the same.
“The recruitments they have done this season, l think they have shown intent, they are really pushing for the league championship.
“And like l said we just have to go there and put everything into the game, mentally, physically. We just have to put everything into the game,” he said.
Pure Platinum Play have been affected by injuries since their journey in the CAF Champions League.
However, the gaffer is happy with the return of Rahman Kutsanzira.
“We still have some guys who are still out, Madzongwe (Kelvin) is out, Stima (William), Raphael (Mudhuviwa) is out after coming back last week he got injured again, Wallace (Magalane) is also out.
“So Rahman is back which is good news for us but we still have some guys who are still out.”
Chicken Inn usually opts for Barboufields as their home but have made a return to Luveve.
“When it comes to Barboufields, I think Chicken Inn go there because of the crowds when they are playing teams like Dynamos or CAPS United but we don’t have a massive following.
“I don’t have any problem on us going to play the game at Luveve,” he said.
