MATURE reggae lovers in Harare are in for a real treat this Sunday when Habhana Lounge holds a reggae festival.
Evolving from their MaRasta Sunday slot, the event will be a celebration of Zimbabwe’s big names in this genre.
Popular emcee Etherton Beenie and his sidekick, Garry B will be in charge.
Local reggae acts Satisfaction, House of Stone, Cello Culture and Transit Crew are part of this strong line-up.
Habhana Lounge general manager, Wanisayi “Mahwindo” Mutandwa, confirmed the festival.
“We are promising nothing but the best. We host the revamped MaRasta Sunday slot, which will culminate into a total reggae experience.
“What makes it unique is the dress code as we are kindly asking our patrons to wear Rasta colours if possible.
“Our resident DJ will open the event, followed by House of Stone, then Etherton and Garry B,” she said.
She added:
“Our service is unique because we believe in our customers.
“On this occasion, there is going to be some specials on all ciders and imported beers.
“For every bottle you buy, you get a discount of US$5 plus you get two bottles of Habhana bottled water.
“All buckets will be US$15 for both imported beers and ciders,” she said.
Habhana Lounge is one of the capital’s trendiest clubs.
It has hosted regional artists and last weekend it was Master KG’s turn at the venue.
