MUSHOWANI Stars Newman Mashipe expects his boys to react positively when they travel to Harare City for a Premiership encounter at Rufaro tomorrow.
The Tiki Taka Boys have been playing well of late while their opponents are coming from a four game losing streak.
However, Mushowani are coming from a 2-1 defeat to log leaders CAPS United – who ended their six match unbeaten run. Mashipe wants his troops to quickly bounce back to winning ways.
“We need to quickly regroup after our defeat to CAPS and it’s going to be a caution game come Saturday.
“Also it’s a tough game for us but we need to have mental strength,’ said Mashipe.
Both teams face the risk of relegation which makes the encounter intriguing.
Mashipe said their position on the standings requires them not to look at the opponents but go onto the pitch with a positive mind.
“We are in the same situation with them (Harare City) and they are a good side so this game will be a tough encounter because we are both fighting relegation.
“Lloyd Chitembwe has done a lot with CAPS United meaning he is a good coach.
“It’s a new game altogether and as a team we have to improve on areas that we are coming short.
“We are treating every game that we play equally regardless of position and each and every game is a teacher to us and the guys know what is at stake. We are looking forward to the match,” he said.
Mushowani are currently on 14th position on the log with 27 points and they have just registered six wins, nine draws and 10 defeats so far this season.
