AFTER enduring a nightmare in which he was battling with injuries, Tatenda Mchisa now finds himself with the chance of success in the Chibuku Super Cup.

The Black Rhinos defender returned to action last week and should play a part when the army side battle for a place in the final on Saturday.

They take on Ngezi Platinum Stars in their semi-final showdown at Bata Stadium in Gweru.

“As a player, you would want to continue to play game in game out but, nevertheless, I have managed to recover and came back last week and I enjoyed my game.

“So, the injury won’t be an issue in this one, it’s gone.

“All I am focusing on is for our team to reach the final and lift the cup.

“We want to do this for all who have backed the team in its difficult phases and all those who make sure we keep on going.

“We are grateful to the fans and I urge them to come and rally behind us on Saturday.”

Mchisa returned from injury last week after suffering a knock in a league match against Ngezi Platinum.

“We are prepared to go and play to win the game and all the preparations are going well,” he said.

“Ngezi have been the team to beat considering the way they have applied themselves in recent games in the cup games and league games.

“But, we are Black Rhinos, we are going to show everyone who we are on the field of play, that we are inspired and we are going to play to reach the final.”
