HARARE City fullback Milton ‘Milito’ Ncube predicts a good encounter when they face in-form CAPS United at the National Sports Stadium on Sunday.
Ncube, a former CAPS player, joined City at the beginning of this season and has been impressive.
He said they are going into the match as underdogs but will give Makepekepe a good run for their money.
The Sunshine Boys are coming from a 2-1 defeat to Black Rhinos while Makepekepe are coming from a 4-1 win over Bulawayo Chiefs.
“The match is going to be one of the best, in terms of entertainment and everything.
“CAPS are in good form, they have been posting good results, we are aware of that. While we are still rebuilding and we seem to have find the right combinations.
“We are equally good and that brings more life to the game.
“Both teams enjoy playing with the ball. Fans will definitely get the value of their money. Entertainment will be guaranteed,” said Ncube.
Ncube will be joined by teammate Peter Moyo who also joined City from CAPS.
He said he will not have mercy for CAPS, as he is targeting positive results.
“This game is an important game for us. We want redemption since we are coming from a defeat.
“The aim is to go there and be enemies for the entire ninety minutes, after the game we will be friends.
“My first priority is City now, not CAPS but I still respect them. You have to know who is bringing food on the table and be loyal,” he said.
“We are going to this as underdogs. But if everything goes our way we have an equal chance of winning.
“We have a good squad that can match CAPS although they have an intimidating form. We are gunning for maximum points and I am optimistic a win is attainable,” added Ncube.
