LEADING Zimbabwean outfit, Mokoomba, yesterday sold out the premier jazz nightclub in Stockholm, Sweden, in another demonstration of the growing appeal in their music.
Fasching normally accommodates 600 fans, when it is sold out, but can accommodate twice that number on special occasions.
It prides itself as “Sweden’s best spot for jazz and world music.”
Mokoomba are on a tour of Europe and, after yesterday’s show, they will play in Malmo, Sweden, tomorrow.
Then, they will fly to Germany for shows in Hannover and Munster.
After that, they will fly to the Netherlands for a show in Rotterdam.
They will then return to Germany for shows in Munich, Berling, Freiburg and Karlsruhe.
Mokoomba will then fly to Switzerland for shows in Basel and Zurich for the final legs of their Euro tour.
