FORMER Black Spirits instrumentalist, Clive Mono Mukundu, will celebrate 30 years in the music industry with a triple launch of a book, guitar tutorial DVD and a music album.
The celebrations are slated for Theatre-in-the Park in Harare Gardens on March 21.
In an interview with H-Metro, Mono who runs a studio in Hatfield, said all was set for the celebrations.
“This year I am celebrating 30 years in the music, so to celebrate the milestone I am launching three items to celebrate the three decades.
“I am going to launch a music album called Acoustic Re-Visit which is my 10th album and it has got eight tracks, a guitar tutorial DVD where I will be showcasing Zimbabwean guitar styles and this is a first in Zimbabwe.
“I am going to launch my second book called ‘Poor and Famous’.
“I launched my first book last year and it is called Following the Melody,” he said.
Mono said he was impressed by preparations as the launch drew closer.
“The launch will be held on Wednesday, March 21 at Theatre in the Park in Harare Gardens.
“A number of artistes will be performing at the event including the likes of Dereck Mpofu and Ethnic Posse.
“I want to thank my fans for supporting me and also I am inviting them to celebrate with me on the 21st of March,” he added.
