Zim dancehall exponent, Mostaff Mutiwa, is simply unstoppable.
Dubbed ‘the pride of Kadoma’, the singer will unveil his eighth album at Padziva in Dzivaresekwa Extension on October 7.
Titled Dingidira, Mostaff went full circle and roped in the most sought-after producers, including Cymplex, Hot Property, Decco Beats, PTK and Solid Records.
At the launch, Mostaff will share the stage with Uncle Epaton, Blot, Ndunge Yut and Lady Squanda, among other Zim dancehall artists.
He said the move was done for him to come up with a polished album.
“I have been in the game for some time and I have always wanted to experiment and engage the best producers to assist me.
“By going full circle, I wanted to come up with something unique since producers have different strengths.
“I think I have nailed it in this album, which will certainly catapult me to acclaim.
“Of course, I have made hits before, but on this album, fans should brace themselves for a scorcher.”
Meanwhile, Mostaff has roped in a new manager and financier, Cleopas Chamangwana, to assist him.
“I used to do almost everything on my own, but now I have a new manager. I no longer stress about getting shows or doing errands since the manager takes care of that.
“Boss Chamangwana came into my life at a time I needed him most. To be honest, I didn’t know that good people still exist,” he said.
Boss Chamangwana pledged to assist Mostaff and lessen his burden.
“I have been following this guy for some time and I have realised that he is immensely talented.
“I have gifted him a car as a way of motivating him,” he said.
Outlining their vision, he added:
“We want to go places and do international collaborations.
“We are now in the process of engaging some high-profile people to collaborate with us.
“As a way of promoting this album, we have also lined up a series of shows countrywide.”
